Overview
Building a Safe and Fun Brick Wall for Our Preschool Garden
We are Wondernauts, a not-for-profit community childcare located in the grounds of Ruakura, and we have a new garden area being developed in our Preschool area.
Part of this project involves having a small "Brick Wall" built.
This wall will be no taller than half a meter, so it isn't a substantial work, but it does need to be strong enough to withstand children's play and remain stable and safe.
Responsibilities / Qualifications
This will suit someone with experience of brick laying, who has maybe retired, or has some free time available to complete the job.
You wouldn't necessarily have to be a "qualified brick layer", but you will need to know how to complete the job without any training or direction from us.
We will give you guidance on what we want and where it needs to go.
We will supply the materials needed.
If you have your own specific tools that you like to use, that could be helpful.
Time commitment
Flexible
We are unsure of the time involved, but we are happy to discuss it fully with you before you commit yourself.
The job could be completed during normal working hours (we will protect you from the kids), or maybe after hours if you prefer.
