We have an exciting opportunity for a Line Design Engineer to join our Asset Management team. This could suit either an experienced design professional or someone who is early in their career but keen to learn.

The Role : PowerNet is on the lookout for a motivated and solutions-focused Line Design Engineer to join our team. Ideally, this would be based in Invercargill, however, there may be flexibility to be based in one of our other Southland or Otago locations for the right candidate.
Whether you're already a Line Design Engineer or someone with an engineering background looking to break into the electricity distribution industry, we want to hear from you! This critical role focuses on the design, review, and engineering analysis of poles, structures, and overhead line equipment —ensuring our communities receive safe and reliable electricity.
