Freelance 2D Animator – Contract

Join a dynamic project focused on creating a high‑energy 2D fighting animation for a pharmaceutical brand operating in the Australian telehealth sector. This freelance opportunity involves producing a visually compelling, action‑packed 10‑second animation for promotional or brand storytelling purposes. The project is fully remote and may lead to future collaboration based on performance.

Deliverables

  • Design and animate a 10‑second 2D action fighting scene, ensuring fluid motion and impactful visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with the project director to align the animation style with brand guidelines and project objectives.
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently and make necessary revisions to achieve the desired outcome.
  • Deliver all final assets in the required formats and resolutions suitable for digital platforms.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in 2D animation, with a strong portfolio showcasing action or fight scenes.
  • Proficiency in industry‑standard animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar tools.
  • Ability to create dynamic character movements and choreograph engaging fight sequences.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Must be Japanese, with the ability to communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Availability to deliver the project within the agreed timeline.
  • Experience working with international clients or brands is a plus.
