Cook required Auckland City (experience required)

We are looking for a skilled Cook to join our team in Auckland City of New Zealand. This role involves preparing and cooking high-quality meals, ensuring food safety, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for guests. Minimum 30 hours guarenteed.

1 Rotating Roster (morning and night shifts)：7 days a week between 11am-10pm

2 Location : Auckland Central, Auckland 1010

3 Remuneration : $25-29 / hour depends on experience and skills

4 Guarantee minimum 30 hours per week

Main tasks :

Inspects and selects ingredients for cooking

Measures, cleans, chops, blends, seasons, heats and cools food

Monitors food cooking processes to ensure proper cooking and presentation

Coordinates, supervises and collaborates with kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking

Cleans and maintains kitchen equipment and utensils

Monitors and maintains inventory of food supplies and equipment

Assists in the development of new recipes and menu items

Requirement :

1You will have at least 2 years of relevant experience or a level 4 qualification or higher (or overseas equivalent) in cookery,hospitality or a related field.

2 A willingness to learn and contribute to a professional kitchen environment is essential.3 Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices prefered

4 Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks

5 Excellent time management and organizational skills

6 Strong communication and teamwork abilities

7 Willingness to adapt and take on additional kitchen duties as needed
