About the job :

We’re looking for an experienced Site Traffic Management Supervisor to join our team in Timaru.

The role involves :

  • Set up and maintain traffic management sites in line with COPTTM and Generic TMP standards and safety procedures.
  • Keep nearby residents and business informed and minimise disruption.
  • Direct and support team members to ensure work is delivered on time and to specification.
  • Operate and maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment.

What you’ll need :

  • Minimum of 6 months STMS or relevant experience.
  • Ability to work well in a team and with the public.
  • You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused and work well in a team as well as independently.
  • A full class 1 and 2 licence and an ability to drive a manual is also essential.
  • Understanding of Specific Traffic Management Plans
  • All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
