About the Role

With our continued success, we have a vacancy for a first-class hospitality superstar to join our cafeteria team.

Our cafeterias are vital to the culture and lifestyle at F&P Healthcare.

Alongside weekday meal services for over 4500 employees, our six cafes also provide catering and service for corporate functions, meetings, and events across the East Tamaki site.

This role will be located within our busy contemporary a la carte café.

This role is predominately front of house, with barista skills to make great coffee in a high paced environment, taking orders on the POS system and serving guests.

In addition, there is a small amount of kitchen based basic prep work, your duties will include serving cabinet food, basic food preparation and presentation, as well as customer service and general cleaning duties.

You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career at F&P.

Responsibilities

Provide front-of-house hospitality and barista service in a busy café environment.

Take orders on the POS system and serve guests, including handling cashless or cash transactions as applicable.

Prepare and present cabinet foods and perform basic kitchen prep work.

Maintain presentation and cleanliness of café areas and ensure food safety standards.

Support catering and service for corporate functions, meetings, and events across the East Tamaki site.

Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality customer service.

Skills and Experience

Outstanding communication and customer service skills with a passion for hospitality.

Proven time management abilities and the ability to work in a high-volume café (approximately 600 coffees per day).

Team player, self-motivated, reliable.

Experience in a fast-paced cafe environment.
