Cabinet Maker

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for eight skilled and motivated Cabinet Makers to join our team.

This is a permanent full-time position, and you are required to work at least 30 hours per week from Monday to Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications for cabinetry and joinery projects.

Manufacture, assemble, and install custom kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, shelves, and other built-in furniture.

Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and CNC equipment safely and accurately.

Measure, cut, edge-band, and finish materials to a high standard.

Carry out on-site installations and fit-outs as required.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.

Ensure quality control and meet project timelines and company standards.

Skills & Qualifications

At least a NZQA Level 4 relevant qualification OR

At least 2 years of proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, Joiner, or similar woodworking role.

Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, cabinet construction, hardware, and materials.

Ability to read plans and produce accurate measurements.

Competent in using woodworking tools, equipment, and machinery.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
