A leader in interiors and light commercial construction established by Directors from larger contractors initially, are securing several clients and growing in brand recognition.

They hold strong relationships with architects and engage experts up front to ensure less rework later.

They are project management specialists in interiors projects that possess 'can do' attitudes with hands on Directors that muck in when need be.

Due to securing new projects, a need now exists for a solution focussed site manager for projects in the Tauranga region.

As a site manager you need to come from an interiors, refurb and light commercial construction background gained from a main contractor of at least 5 years.

The SM is engaged from early design and build stages and set up, so they are on board from the very beginning and familiar with all stakeholder inputs.

Being able to naturally client front as a SSM is essential.

You have a proven track record in running a programme to agreed milestone and can lead front the front.

Responsibilities

Lead interior and light commercial construction site activities in Tauranga, from early design and build stages through to project handover.

Engage with stakeholders, maintain client-facing communications, and ensure alignment with project milestones.

Manage on-site teams and subcontractors to meet safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

Collaborate with project management to minimise rework and optimise build efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience as Site Manager and Senior Site Manager in interiors, refurb, and light commercial construction.

Background from a main contractor with at least 5 years of experience.

Proven ability to run a programme to agreed milestones and lead front-of-house client communications.
