Due to internal promotion, we are currently on the lookout for a Commercial Organisational Development Lead. Reporting to the Commercial Planning & Enablement Manager, this role leads, manages and delivers the commercial capability framework, programs, and tools to build competency and performance across all Commercial functions in NZ (Retail, Consumer Experience, Marketing & Digital).

Your ‘day to day’ :

  • Develop multi-tiered and segmented learning interventions to upskill the Commercial function for future need;
  • In collaboration with Commercial Managers and People & Culture, assess the effectiveness of the function on an ongoing basis to identify gaps for enhancement and appropriate solutions;
  • Review and analyse the learning portfolio to identify relevant in-house / external training programs for general Commercial / Technical / Leadership skills and competency development;
  • Monitor the effectiveness of capability development roadmap for each Commercial stream and enhance delivery and capability solutions for the future;
  • Budget Management and reporting.

Who we’re looking for :

  • 7+ years’ experience in a commercial business environment with exposure to broad business issues;
  • Demonstrated ability to assess organisation capability and build solutions for gap development across all levels in the organisation;
  • Excellent business acumen to drive performance and results;
  • Strong problem solving & influencing skills;
  • Consumer and customer Experience oriented;
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships;
  • Attention to detail.
