The opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the General Manager of Corporate Services and the wider team.
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same—you'll be at the heart of a busy team, ensuring smooth operations and enabling leaders to focus on strategic priorities.
What You'll Do
Provide executive-level assistance including workflow, including complex diary and email management, meeting coordination, training and travel arrangements.
Build and maintain strong relationships across the organisation while exercising the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Provide high-level executive support to the General Manager.
Support Council / Committee functions through quality preparation and coordination of reports and papers.
Assist with projects, training and event coordination, travel bookings, and induction programmes.
Prepare responses under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act (LGOIMA) and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Identify and implement improvements to administrative systems and processes.
Administration of corporate policies.
Manage purchasing card use across the group to ensure compliance.
To set you up for success, you\'ll have
Proven experience in an Executive Assistant or senior administrative role.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues proactively.
The ability to work closely with senior leadership and make a meaningful contribution to our organisation
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
A collaborative and professional approach, with the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to pick up inhouse systems quickly.
