Job description
  • Permanent, part-time role (0.6 FTE, 48 hours per fortnight)
  • Salary band : $81,000 - $106,000 p.a pro-rata and KiwiSaver

    About the role

    The Emergency Department includes :

    • a triage area
    • a rapid assessment area
    • dedicated resuscitation areas
    • acute, sub-acute and paediatric cubicles
    • ambulatory care spaces
    • acute cares for adults and paediatrics
    • full patient resuscitation facilities
    • management of trauma, fractures, injuries and so much more.
    • Develop your skills in this area of nursing with :

    • on-going development in emergency nursing skills e.g. Trauma Nursing Core Course, Triage Course, and Advanced Life Support

      About you

    • Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC
    • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
    • Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
    • The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused
    • Previous experience in an acute setting would be an advantage
    • Working at Health New Zealand

      Salary range

      This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Step 2 ($81,683 p.a) and Step 7 ($106,739 p.a pro-rata) of the RN scale.
