A strong understanding of Te Ao Maori and te reo Maori, a caring nature, and the ability to work closely with tamariki and whanau are essential.

Responsibilities
Connect with intermediate-age students and deliver engaging learning experiences.
Promote student agency, improve outcomes, and support student wellbeing.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high-quality local curriculum.
Contribute to professional growth and participate in ongoing development.
Specialise in key curriculum areas as appropriate (e.g., Aotearoa New Zealand Histories, Science, Te Ao Maori).
Qualifications
Certification as a teacher (certificated teacher).
Strong understanding of Te Ao Maori and te reo Maori.
Ability to work effectively with tamariki and whanau.
