Overview

San Won Ltd is a 7'000-tonne cold storage facility situated within the port of Timaru.

The San Won team supports the company's goal to deliver professional logistics services to all clients who store products within the facility and dispatch frozen products throughout the world.

San Won prides itself in delivering all goods on time and in full on behalf of our clients.

Discover our cold storage facility located in Timaru, central to mountains, lakes, and the sea.

We manage product for our clients ensuring delivery on time.

You will find a variety of our beautiful New Zealand seafood products in our retail shop located on site.

Role details

Based at the Timaru Port and reporting to the Team Leader - Operations, this is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operation of our cold store facility.

As a Store Person you will help ensure product is prepared and ready to be dispatched.

Responsibilities

Handle, move, and load frozen products

Operate machinery safely and ensure equipment is available

Ensure product handling meets safety and quality standards

Follow documented processes and maintain accurate records, logs, and compliance documentation

About you

Experience in a similar role

Physically fit and comfortable with lifting up to 30kg

Able to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Good initiative and attention to detail

Available to work Monday to Friday, 7 : 00am - 4 : 30pm - some weekend work is required

You must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
