Operations Specialist | Biotech Industry | UP7500

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operation Specialist to support the setup of a high-efficiency R&D laboratory focused on RNA drug development. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a greenfield project in the biotech sector, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Deliver

A fully operational RNA drug development laboratory that meets high standards of efficiency, safety, and scientific rigor.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Minimum qualifications of Degree with 3-5 years of experience in laboratory operations within chemistry or biochemistry R&D.
  • Proven experience in setting up green or brown facilities will be an added advantage.
  • Strong track record or passion for operational excellence and process improvement.

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management (40%)
  • Design and implement lab workflows and infrastructure.

  • Lead the deployment of Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) and Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN).
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Kanban) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Administrative & Regulatory (30%)
  • Prepare and submit documentation for safety, licensing, and permits.

  • Digitize and standardize operational procedures.
  • Assist in generating month-end reports, data and information for review and evaluation.
  • Inventory & Procurement (30%)
  • Develop and digitize inventory and order management systems.

  • Coordinate the selection, purchase, and commissioning of scientific equipment and consumables.
  • Plan equipment layout and storage infrastructure.
  • Working Hours and Compensation

    Working Hours : Mon - Thurs 8.30am - 6pm; Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm

    Salary : $5000 - $7500

    Contract : 6 Months

    Location : One North
