Overview

Our Taupo team is looking for 3X Class 2 and 4 Drivers to join our team on a full-time basis and fixed-term basis (until February 2025), working Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

Enjoy a thriving industry with stability and the opportunity to be cross-trained on our trucks
Be fully trained to operate safely our range of industry specific trucks to collect refuse and deliver and remove bins to / from our valued customers.
Take responsibility for completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining the vehicle to a high standard
Enjoy a positive team environment, supportive managers, and regular team catch-ups
You\'ll comply with high levels of health & safety to keep yourself and the public safe at all times.

Qualifications

hold a clean Class 4 licence and can drive manual

have a minimum 6 months of proven truck driving experience in a professional role

Pass our internal Driver Trainer assessments on an annual basis

Confidently know the geographical area around Taupo

have good level of physical fitness and sound understanding of Health & Safety and NZTA\'s Worktime and Logbook requirements

have NZ citizenship, residence or open work visa and be in NZ at the time of their application

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (including drug test) and complete a satisfactory Ministry of Justice criminal records check.
