  • Learning Designer, 6-month fixed term role

  • We are seeking an innovative and motivated learning designer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term basis to complete learning solutions for a specific project.
  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Design and develop high-quality learning materials, including online modules, video's, face-to-face workshops, and blended learning solutions for a specific project.
  • Collaborate with project team members, stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of content being designed.
  • Apply learning design principles to create learner-centered, accessible, and engaging content for this project.
  • Use a variety of multimedia tools and platforms to develop interactive and visually appealing learning solutions.As part of the wider OSD Learning and Development team, you will work collaboratively with other learning designers, analysts and evaluators, trainers, and technical coaches to ensure quality of learning solutions, delivery experiences and seamless support for learning.Joining Te Tāhū o te Ture means you will become part of an organisation that welcomes and supports people of all gender identities, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, disabilities, and religions.The Operations and Service Delivery (OSD) Learning and Development team provides operational learning for all OSD business groups (Courts and Tribunals, National Service Delivery, Senior Courts and Commissioning and Service Improvement) across NZ.Be part of a significant initiative that will impact the lives of many across Aotearoa New Zealand.   • He pūkenga tou / Skills and Experience
  • We're looking for an individual with learning design and development experience. You will need to be a self-starter who can manage your own workload and be able to learn from reflective practice.To be successful in this role, you will need to have :
  • A tertiary design qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in the creation of adult learning material for workplaces.
  • Experience working in a learning design team in designing, developing and deploying creative and innovative learning materials in a workplace, including digital and / or e-learning design.
  • Knowledge of current learning design theories and principles
  • Proven experience of working with various stakeholders to produce tailored learning solutions.
  • A working knowledge of the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi and the implications of these for the work of Te Tāhū o Ture – Ministry of Justice.This is a national role that may be based anywhere in New Zealand. It is primarily a remote position, with periodic requirements for an in-office presence.
  • Utu ā-tau / Salary
  • The appointing salary for this role will be between $84,562 to $116,273 pro rata (6 months) and will be based on skills and experience.
