We are looking for casual lifeguard team members at our busy Manurewa Pools and Leisure Centre.
Responsibilities Provide a safe environment through proactive supervision and positive interaction with customers Educate and enforce pool rules Respond to any First Aid emergencies Ensure pool and surroundings are clean at all times Support customer service and other functions as required Schedule This is an on-site position.
Our centre opens from 7 : 00 am – 7 : 00 pm on weekends and 5 : 30 am to 10 : 00 pm on weekdays; the ability to work early, late, night, and weekends is crucial.
About you We are looking for strong swimmers of all ages, dedicated to helping others and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
As a lifeguard, you'll need to stay alert, work well in a team, and provide excellent customer service.
Training : If you do not have a current First Aid Certificate or Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate (PLPC), Auckland Council will provide all training free of charge and pay you to attend.
Training will be scheduled from 1 Dec – 12 Dec
