Intermediate / Senior Accountant

Join the dynamic team at ICY Chartered Accountants Limited as an Intermediate / Senior Accountant. This full-time role is based in the vibrant city of Rotorua, in the stunning Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand. As a key member of our growing team, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality accounting and advisory services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing payrolls, GST returns, and monthly accounts payable
• Preparing management reports
• Preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for a range of commercial and not-for-profit clients
• Providing strategic business and tax advisory services to help our clients achieve their goals
• Liaising directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the accounting team
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our internal processes and procedures
