About the Role
As our Data Migration Team Lead, you'll guide a talented team of data specialists through the design, development, and execution of complex migration projects that power real business transformation.
Reporting directly to the Director of Data Migration, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining high standards, and fostering the growth and development of your team.
In this pivotal role, you\'ll ensure data migrations are executed with precision, security, and scalability.
You'll also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the business to support strategic transformation initiatives.

What You'll Bring
7–10 years' experience in data migration or information analysis, including 2–4 years in a hands-on data migration analyst or developer role
Strong technical expertise in ETL processes, data modelling, and SQL (preferably Postgres)
A solid understanding of data security, data validation, and quality assurance best practices
Proven stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across teams and hierarchy levels.
Technical Skills – Must-Have
Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Talend or Apache Hop
Proficient in source control systems (e.g., GIT, Bitbucket)
Strong expertise in relational databases, particularly with PostgreSQL
Solid programming skills in Java, Groovy, C#, or Python
Technical skills which will be beneficial to the role
Experience with document databases, such as MongoDB
Prior experience working in a vendor organisation or within the registry industry
