At Habberfield Landscapes, we specialise in high-quality soft landscaping for residential and commercial projects across the Taranaki region, mostly based in New Plymouth. We’re a passionate, hands‑on team with a love for outdoor spaces and a dedication to creating beautiful, functional gardens.

Our work includes everything from plant selection and garden bed installation to turfing, mulching, and soil preparation along with general garden maintenance. With a growing pipeline of projects, we’re looking to expand our team with a like‑minded landscape gardener who shares our values of craftsmanship, professionalism, and a genuine passion for gardening.

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Landscape Gardener to join our close‑knit team. This is a full‑time position. You’ll be working on a variety of projects—from private gardens to larger landscape developments—bringing outdoor spaces to life through planting, turfing, and quality horticultural care.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing soft landscaping elements : plants, turf, soil, mulch, edging, etc.
• Preparing garden beds and planting according to site conditions.
• Assisting in site set‑up, clean‑up, and general project flow.
• Using hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Communicating clearly with clients and team members.
