Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities (80%)
Plan, implement, and enhance department schedules; allocate resources; coordinate with system vendors and end-users to ensure timely task execution.
Lead annual IT workplan submissions with department leads and operations teams, including acquisition and implementation.
Manage IT planning and execution for Allied Health functions in the future campus.
Assess and process change requests; perform build changes to meet user needs and address root causes.
Oversee system integrations (internal and external), ensuring compliance with security requirements and seamless data flow.
Strategize and enhance system evolution, leveraging cloud platforms for service optimisation and cost-effectiveness.
Upgrade existing IT systems, automate workflows, and collaborate closely with department stakeholders.
Oversee :
Server, workstation, and printer administration in the LAN environment
Procurement and implementation of IT equipment
Compilation of statistical reports
Scheduled and ad-hoc data extraction
Price updates, charge rectification, and audit activities
Maintain contracts and follow up with system vendors and departments.
Review, update, and implement IT SOPs in line with MOH, cluster, and Synapxe directives, including business continuity planning.
Lead regular IT audits for assigned Allied Health departments.
Secondary Responsibilities (20%)
Propose and implement AI-driven solutions to improve operations and support the future campus.
Support KPI tracking for cluster and institutional initiatives.
Participate in informatics projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Contribute to cross-institutional system harmonisation efforts.
Undertake additional assignments as delegated by the reporting officer.
Requirements
Min.
Degree in Computer Science / IT or Healthcare-related studies, with at least 5 years of experience or relevant qualifications in healthcare informatics systems.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing, DICOM, HL7, LAN / WAN, and connectivity standards is a plus
Familiarity with budgeting and procurement processes
Good understanding of information security, network security, and firewall administration
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
