Tax Manager

Our client, a second tier chartered accounting firm, has developed their practice and built a record of success, by working closely with their clients, assisting them to grow and develop their businesses. This approach sees them being innovative and technologically driven, while working in partnership with clients in understanding and supporting their business objectives.

Currently they are seeking a Tax Specialist / Tax Manager who would like to grow their career and take that next step in an established tax consulting practice. Due to the diverse nature of the Christchurch client base, the role offers plenty of potential across a range of industry sectors and the future client development will be enhanced by some established professional referral networks. The current tax consulting team works very closely with a number of key clients, as well as providing services and advice internally across the wider business advisory services and consulting practices.

We ideally see this role suiting a Tax Specialist or Tax Manager who wants to take that next step in their career, but can’t see that scope for advancement in their current role. Candidates will need to be CA qualified and be able to demonstrate proven tax advisory and consulting experience with the ability to both develop and manage client relationships. Working at that Manager level from day one, we are looking to identify ambitious and capable individuals who are proactive in developing their own careers and who have the management skills in providing leadership within the tax consulting team.

The remuneration package for this role will be negotiated at a level to attract candidates of a high calibre and where applicable our client will also assist with any relocation expenses.
