About the role

Our dedicated Kitchen team are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef or Cook to join on a Casual basis at our MetFlex Team.

You will be responsible for whipping up delicious quality home cooking and designing tasty menus for our residents in a restaurant environment.This position is responsible for the profitable management of the dining operation and experience, ensuring a welcoming and professional customer experience, driving growth, meeting budgets and ensuring food quality and hygiene standards are exceeded.

Whipping up delicious offerings in a restaurant environment

Coordinating the kitchen to ensure it operates effortlessly

Maintaining a high standard of food with consistent portion sizes and outstanding presentation

Using your leadership skills to help lead our kitchen team

About you

Proven experience in a similar role

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends

Commercial kitchen and or café experience is preferred

Food industry qualification

Excellent food hygiene practices and personal presentation
