Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is seeking a vibrant and welcoming Receptionist to be the face of our Whakatāne Campus.
As our Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact, providing manaaki for our manuhiri (visitors), tauira (students), and kaimahi (staff) in a way that truly reflects our organisational values. You’ll play a key role in supporting our organisation, ensuring every interaction is welcoming, professional, and helpful.

This role provides operational administration support services including handling phone and reception enquiries, inwards and outwards correspondence, and co-ordinating administration needs for the office as well as customer service duties.

You will have a knowledge of Tikanga Māori and the ability to communicate at a basic level in Te Reo Māori, or a willingness to improve Te Reo Māori skills beyond basic level.
