Te Mahi – About the job
RNZ is looking for an experienced andenthusiastic senior journalist with demonstrable experience with breaking newsand a track record of original stories for radio, current affairs programmesand digital and social media platforms.
Your experience working at a seniorlevel will mean that you are organised, efficient and reliable, using yourinitiative to report on a mix of original and assigned stories, and have a comprehensiveknowledge of important issues facing New Zealanders.
You will be ready to hit the road,relying on key contacts and sources to drive story ideas and deliverfirst-class journalism.
You will :
Have superior writing, interviewing and live broadcastingskills
Be a skilled digital reporter
Bring accuracy, attention to detail, curiosity andcreativity to your work
File written, audio and visual content to tight radio anddigital deadlines
Be flexible and able to commit to shift work
