Responsibilities
We’re excited to offer a full-time, permanent teaching role at the Epuni Care and Protection residence in Lower Hutt. We’re seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic kaiako committed to empowering ākonga on their learning journey.
Highly desirable : Proficiency in te reo Māori and deep understanding of te ao Māori. We’re looking for someone confident in these areas to support our commitment to bicultural practice and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and help guide our team on this journey.
About the role
You’ll design and deliver personalised programmes that spark curiosity and build on ākonga strengths. Collaboration with our wider team and external agencies is key, including supporting smooth transitions back into community education.

Central Regional Health School has 80 staff across 14 sites in the lower North Island. This role is based at Epuni, though occasional teaching at other sites may be required.
