Motion Conveyance Solutions (Mcs) National Lightweight Sales Engineer

Overview

Driving sales growth by leveraging technical expertise and industry knowledge to identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities for the Motion Lightweight Conveyance business nationally.

Responsibilities

Coach and support other members of the Motion Sales team to build MCS Lightweight product knowledge and drive enterprise value

Represent MCS by providing expertise in the management of large multisite accounts

Delivery of budgeted revenue, gross profit and market share targets.

Create and monitor sales promotions that meet budgeted sales and profit results.

Participate in or manage key account negotiations, tenders, and proposals

Develop and maintain excellent customer and supplier relationships.

Work with sales and marketing, and direct with customers as required, to ensure excellent product knowledge and application

Operations & safety : Comply with the Motion Code of Conduct and follow policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace

Provide sales support and conduct joint calls with the Motion Sales team.

Work collaboratively to deliver the best outcome for the Motion Team

Workshop and Operational Alignment : Work collaboratively with Motion Workshops to deliver superior outcomes for MCS customers

Ideal skills & experience

10+ years' experience in lightweight conveyance products

Ability to apply technical skills in supporting the business requirements

Ability to use knowledge of the industry to understand customer needs & expectations

Experience in managing distribution and negotiating with distribution providers nationally

Experience in developing operational and performance reporting

Demonstrated strategic and commercial acuity through improved business performance

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and to a deadline

Strong collaborative skills, ability to develop and drive business plans, high level of customer focus
