About The Mahi (role)

We are on the lookout for a driven, people-focused Physiotherapist to join our expanding team in the heart of Hamilton. You will treat a variety of acute musculoskeletal injuries and work across ACC and private contracts, including early intervention, pain management, post-op rehab, ICP, spine care, and more. Every day is different.

You will be based in our brand new, purpose-built multidisciplinary centre in Hamilton CBD, working alongside sports doctors, orthopaedic surgeons, and the expert team at Beyond Radiology, all under one roof.

We’re ideally after a full-time, experienced physio, but if you are intermediate to senior level and excited about this opportunity, we want to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and practice advanced levels of practice in assessing and treating patients efficiently and safely.
  • Responsible for ensuring all contract clinical reports and referrer letters are completed at an acceptable standard within contracted timeframes.
  • Liaise effectively with consultants, family doctors, case managers and co-ordinators and allied health professionals.
  • Provide support, supervision and training to new graduate physiotherapists and students when required.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Engagement in team meetings, quality audits, case discussions and internal further education to enhance quality of work and client outcomes.

  • Skills and Experiences

    About You Our ideal candidate is someone with a great attitude who aligns with our vision and values and has a minimum of 2 or more years clinical experience. Previous experience in musculoskeletal or sports physiotherapy or a relevant post-graduate qualification would be an advantage.

    Substantial orientation, training, and support will be provided.
