Te Tauraki is looking for a Portfolio & Performance Lead, ready to make a difference in the health and social sector space.

About Us

As a subsidiary of Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu, Te Tauraki has a number of functions.

Currently it operates both as an Iwi-Maori Partnership Board and a new commissioning agency for Whanau Ora services within Te Waipounamu.

Both functions focus on achieving better hauora (health) and oranga (wellbeing) outcomes for whanau.

About You

The Portfolio and Performance Lead

will hold relationships across Te Waipounamu in relation to hauora and oranga.

They will be responsible for ensuring that health and wellbeing service providers commissioned through Te Tauraki are delivering services as contracted, and that these services are effectively reaching whanau and communities across Te Waipounamu.

They will develop relationships with entities, services and agencies operating in the takiwa to collect and amplify whanau voice and monitor hauora and oranga systems.

This role monitors both system and service performance, evaluates service uptake, and ensures that contracts align with Te Tauraki kaupapa, vision, mission and values.

Data insights and feedback from whanau are central to this role, enabling continuous improvement and responsiveness in service design and delivery.
