• About the role
• We're seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to design and deliver high-quality, reusable data models and analytics products that empower decision-makers across the Authority. You'll bridge the gap between technical data engineering and business-facing analytics, ensuring our data products are accurate, accessible, and aligned with strategic goals.
• This is a hands-on role where you will :
• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable data models and products
• Build and maintain analytics-ready datasets using SQL and Python
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and IT to ensure data integrity and usability
• Champion best practices in data modelling, documentation, and governance
• Validate KPIs and metrics to ensure they reflect business logic and regulatory needs
• Support self-service analytics through well-designed semantic layers and toolingYou'll work across the full analytics lifecycle - from stakeholder engagement to production deployment - in a lean, agile team that values curiosity, initiative, and impact.

• Five plus years' experience in analytics engineering or BI development
• Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data platforms (Databricks preferred)
• Familiarity with data modelling principles (e.g. dimensional modelling, Delta Lake)
• Ability to translate business logic into technical solutions
• Experience with CI / CD, version control, and collaborative workflows
• Comfort working in a lean team with broad responsibilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
