Awanui labs - Dunedin is owned by Awanui Group (Previously known as Asia Pacific Healthcare Group), a healthcare company committed to providing facilities and services that deliver exceptional care to its clients.About the role | M f4 te tbanga : Our Patient Services Department is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Phlebotomist ready to take the next step in their career as a Clinic Supervisor.

This is a permanent, full-time position (80 hours per fortnight), offering a fantastic opportunity to grow professionally in a supportive and dynamic environment.In this key leadership role, you will support the daily operations of the department, working closely with the Head of Department and Team Leaders.Key Tasks Include : Delivering day-to-day departmental leadership and supervision as directed by the Head of Department (HOD) or Team Leader.Managing staff time, equipment and collection centre records.

Team Leader or Trainer relief cover may be required at times.Ensuring all team members are well-informed, properly trained, and competent to perform clinical and technical tasks to the highest standards.

This includes educating staff on current SOPs and ensuring compliance.Supporting the rollout and implementation of staff training programs and department initiatives as assigned by the HOD or Team Leader.Assisting team members in their professional development programmes, registration requirements and career growth initiatives.Supporting the HOD / Team Leader with performance appraisals, audits and other staff evaluations as required.This position is ideal for a motivated and experienced individual with strong leadership qualities who is committed to delivering exceptional patient services and supporting team development.About you | He korero mobaTo be successful in this role you need to have : A positive and friendly approach to work and creating a positive and supportive workplace culture.Cultural and social sensitivity.Genuine compassion for others and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.Excellent communication and customer service skills, including a high standard of personal presentation.Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow procedures, even under pressure.A high level of respect for patient confidentiality and professionalism in all matters.Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems as required.Leadership experience is preferred but not essential.Registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate is essential.Eligibility to work in New Zealand.What s in it for you | He aha m4du : You will be joining a friendly, high-performing, and forward-thinking team environment.
