Overview

Work with cutting-edge technology in the IoT testing space with consumer appliances. Create solutions that change the world for the better. This role supports the stability of a big brand with a customer focused approach and reports to the Practice Lead QA for Connected Appliances. You will be an integral part of a team of product software engineers within the connected appliance space. This is an onsite role in East Tamaki with an immediate start.

Role details

  • Contract duration : 3 months to 6 months initially
  • Immediate start
  • Onsite role – working closely with product teams
  • Location : East Tamaki
  • Rate : NZ$100 - NZ$115 per hour
  • Reporting to the Practice Lead QA for Connected Appliances

Responsibilities

  • Design and carry out testing processes for new and updated connected applications and product software, analyse the results, and identify and report problems
  • Contribute towards adoption of best software testing practice within the organisation

    • Required / ideal qualifications

  • Functional testers with some experience in baseline automation testing and mobile app testing for iOS and Android (non-negotiable)
  • Experience with Appium, TestNG / Java (important / preferred)
  • Problem solving capabilities (helps in handling issues arising from product integration)
  • Consumer product domain or IoT testing experience or product application testing experience (good to have)
  • Availability to join within 1 week (next week) or 2 weeks max
