Christ’s College is seeking a full-time, fixed-term teacher of literacy during term 2, 2026 ie 28 April to Friday 3 July 2026. The fixed-term is to cover a staff leave of absence from the learning support and ESOL department during this time.
The successful candidate will join an established and well-resourced area.
Applicants should be willing to be involved in the co-curricular and mentor programmes of the College.

The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver a literacy intervention programme to individuals or small groups, assessing need and evaluating progress. Working with students requiring support will require a diverse range of strategies to stimulate students’ interests in meaningful literacy experiences. Because the role will require regular interface with colleagues and parents / caregivers it is integral that the successful applicant be organised and have the interpersonal skills to readily engage.
