Enrolled Nurse

Overview

We are seeking Enrolled Nurses to provide care to whanau in the community under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 : 30am – 5 : 00pm and will be based at our Māngere Clinic. Turuki Health Care is a kaupapa Maori organisation delivering integrated Health and Social Services to the wider Counties Manukau and ADHB areas. We provide quality, accessible, and affordable health care and support to whanau.

Responsibilities

We are seeking x2 experienced Enrolled Nurses to provide care to whanau in the community under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty. You will work within a team of Health Workers, Nurses, Doctors, and Administrators to ensure whanau are well looked after. No two days are the same as you could be out in the community as part of our Mobile Clinic team taking swab samples and administering vaccinations or you could be in our Māngere Clinic working with whanau over the phone to discuss any health issues they may be concerned about.

Qualifications and experience

• Hold a current Level 5 Enrolled Nurse Diploma
• Willing to continually learn and improve
• Previous experience within the health environment
• Clear and confident phone manner
• Knowledge of Medtech PMS (an advantage)
• Ability to build relationships with a range of different people
• NZ full Driver Licence
• Independent Vaccinator’s Certificate (preferred)
• Ability to speak Te Reo Maori or other languages would be an advantage
