The Opportunity

We are looking for a Digital Optimisation Engineer.

This hands-on position is based in Veolia's Ellerslie NZ Corporate Office.

What you'll be responsible for

Contributing to the team that provides BAU systems support for our operations teams such as user account management, troubleshooting, training, documentation and other continual improvement activities

Providing Specialist System support on ArcGIS, HxGN EAM and other business platforms

Occasional onsite support or training around our New Zealand sites

Delivering on the NZ Digital Roadmap by Scoping, planning and delivering system enhancements

Being a Champion of digital transformation

What you'll need to be successful

Ability to roll up your sleeves and be an active part of providing business solutions

More than 5 years experience supporting complex specialist systems

Experience working with interfaces between diverse systems, data sets, and multiple information references

Expertise in Esri ArcGIS

Knowledge of and experience with water infrastructure operation, field maintenance, utilities or asset management

Ability to apply analytical systems thinking

Strong communication skills - you will be talking with people face to face, or calling them to understand their needs

What Will Give Your Application An Edge

Knowledge of HxGN (formerly Infor) EAM, Innovyze InfoAsset Manager or AVEVA / OsiSoft PI is advantageous, however a willingness and ability to learn is more important.

Familiarity with Google Workspace
