Positioned in Auckland, the hotel seeks a full-time Night Auditor to provide friendly, efficient and accurate service at the front desk during arrivals, departures, and guest queries.
Responsibilities
- Welcome late arrivals; manage check-ins / outs, payments, keys
- Reconcile the day’s takings : post and audit transactions, balance cash / card, resolve variances
- Run end-of-day and night audit reports for Finance and Front Office
- Monitor safety and security; complete floor walks and log incidents
- Handle enquiries and issues calmly; escalate when needed
- Prepare morning handover and set up reports / systems for the next shift
- Maintain accurate records; follow SOPs, privacy and cash-handling standards
- Respond to after-hours incidents and alarms; follow emergency procedures and coordinate with Security
Qualifications
Previous hotel front office or night-audit experience is essentialDetail-driven with strong numeracy and accuracyConfident with PMS and basic Excel / reportingClear, professional communicator who stays calm under pressureAble to work the overnight shift (around 10 : 30pm to 7am) on a 7 day rotating roster - including weekendsBenefits
