Preference is for full time working but part time hours would be considered for a suitable candidate.This role is based across our acute medical services with varying patient presentations.
Caseload will sit within the acute medical and oncology wards and the acute frailty and medical assessment unit.
You will work closely with the advanced, experienced and rotational physiotherapists in these areas, as well as our allied health assistant team.
Work will be required at times to support service provision across all inpatient areas.
Patient caseload will vary spanning acute medical, oncology, frailty and assessment and discharge.The position is part of our wider inpatient physiotherapy team at Wellington Regional Hospital, treating patients across all specialities at the hospital.
The role sits within our neuro / med / onc / ortho mini-team, consisting of advanced, experienced and rotational physiotherapists.
Cover will be required across the hospital as service need indicates.This role also includes on call and weekend working commitments, covering Wellington Regional Hospital - adult and paediatric patients.
