We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic

Catering Assistant

to join our team at

Fonterra Darfield

In this role, you'll support the daily delivery of high-quality catering services, including food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

You'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient dining experience for our clients and their teams.

Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning, plating, and salad prep.

Deliver warm, friendly customer service and respond to requests promptly.

Maintain clean and hygienic dining and kitchen areas, including equipment and public spaces.

Operate a cash register and follow Compass Group's cash handling procedures.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and follow all company policies and procedures.

Experience in a similar catering or hospitality role.

Team player with a flexible, positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Physically fit, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Able to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Holds or is willing to obtain a NZQA Food Handling Certificate and Police Clearance.
