About the Company :

Our client provides Mobile & Fibre design, build and maintenance services across New Zealand. They are currently in a growth stage and have set a goal to be New Zealand’s total connection company (they are well on their way). They operate in over 20 locations across the country and pride themselves on operating in a diverse and inclusive environment.

About the role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telecommunications Deployment Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry and experience in the deployment of telecommunications infrastructure.

You will work with customers to understand their needs and develop customized deployment plans, so it is crucial you have strong communication skills. Part of your duties will be to support Project Managers in deployments so you must be able to work collaboratively with a variety of technical and non-technical peers. This is a senior role that will require you to mentor juniors from time to time, therefore, the successful candidate will be a natural leader.

Key Skills and Experience :

4 years in the deployment of telecommunications infrastructure

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Outstanding communication skills in all formats - including the ability to make the complex and complicated, simple and understandable.

Proven stakeholder management capabilities and experience working with cross-functional teams within a large organisation.

Leadership skills and experience mentoring junior staff members
