Maintenance Engineer

About the Role

In this role, you will keep our production and packaging equipment performing at a high standard, including dryers, sachet machines, pouch fillers, and supporting utilities. You’ll troubleshoot issues, carry out planned maintenance, and help improve our processes so we can deliver safe, high-quality products consistently.

You will work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and external service partners, contributing your technical expertise to reduce downtime and lift overall equipment efficiency.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary of $85,000 per year.

What You Will Be Doing

• Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot key plant equipment (dryers, sachet and pouch lines, HVAC, compressed air, nitrogen systems).
• Carry out preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Respond quickly to mechanical and electrical faults across the lines.
• Set and adjust sealing parameters for consistent packaging quality.
• Apply SMED and Lean tools to reduce waste and improve changeover times.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.
• Work to GMP, HACCP, HSWA 2015, and food safety requirements.
• Keep maintenance and calibration records accurate and audit-ready.
• Support MPI, WorkSafe, and customer audit activities.
• Promote safe work behaviors, including LOTO and hazard identification.
