Project Manager - Hotel

Overview

One of NZ's main commercial construction players that have expanded nationally have a strong pipeline of projects drawn from a mix of ECI, D&B and competitive tendering.

Projects are a mix of high rise multi storey apartments, hotels, mixed use commercial, retail developments and industrial.

The opportunity would see you leading an established and experienced site team taking on a luxury hotel project.

You will work closely with both the Construction and Commercial Manager taking responsibility for the delivery of the project incorporating all aspects of programme, commercial, safety and quality issues, whilst maintaining and developing sound client relationships.

You will be supported by a talented site team and a loyal subcontractor group.

Responsibilities

Lead an established and experienced site team on a luxury hotel project.

Collaborate with the Construction and Commercial Manager to deliver the project across programme, commercial, safety and quality aspects.

Maintain and develop sound client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.

Support by a skilled site team and loyal subcontractor group.

Qualifications

At least 15 years' experience in the NZ commercial construction industry with Tier 1 or 2 contractor experience.

Ideally a Bachelor of Construction Management or similar degree or a trade qualification.

Demonstrated experience delivering a range of commercial projects including high rise residential, industrial, data centres, hotels or shopping centres.

Experience taking projects from tender stage to completion, involvement in design & build, stakeholder / client management is highly regarded.

Strong commercial acumen, knowledge of programming, cost reporting and budget control.

Salary

Salary - $190K - $220K
