We're looking for a

Merchandise Planner & Analyst

to join our team and play a key role in shaping the product offering across ourMEGA, Mitre 10, and Hammer Hardware stores.

From wheelbarrows to thumb tacks, paint to power tools, andgreen goods in between – our product range is vast.

Merchandise planning iscritical to ensuring the right products are in the right place at the righttime, driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

Few roles have such adirect impact on the bottom line.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Merchandise Planning Manager, you'll beresponsible for :

Delivering analytical support, insights, andactionable recommendations.

Preparing, coordinating, and facilitatingregular financial planning review cycles.

Supporting the merchandise journey from sourceto shelf through analytics and reporting.

Collaborating closely with Category Managers,Merchandise Managers, and cross-functional teams to provide timely informationand support.

What we're looking for

You'll bring proven experience in merchandise planning or asimilar analytical role, ideally within retail.

You understand best practiceand know how to optimise financial returns across categories.

Key skills and attributes include :

Advanced data skills – extracting,consolidating, and manipulating data with accuracy.

Strong numerical aptitude and proficiency in MSExcel; Power BI experience is a plus.

Excellent time management and prioritisationskills.

Clear communication and relationship-buildingability.

A sharp eye for detail and accuracy.
