We are excited to offer two permanent, full-time teaching positions at Te Au Rere a te Tonga Youth Residence in Palmerston North to start 28 January 2026.

Proficiency in Te Reo Māori / Te Ao Māori. We would highly value an applicant who can confidently operate within these, actively supporting our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in our environment.
About the role :
You will help design, implement, and review individualized learning programmes that support ākonga’s transition to community, education and employment. Collaboration with the wider team is essential. You’ll also support transition planning with other educators, specialists, and partner agencies.
You’ll be part of a supportive and dynamic team that values tika, pono and aroha alongside manaakitanga and whanaungatanga. Our kaiako benefit from small class sizes (2 : 12 ratio) and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of ākonga.
