About the role

As a Building Control Officer you will be responsible for evaluating and processing building consent applications and responding to customer enquiries in accordance with Council policies and legislative requirements.

The salary range for this role is between $87, 389 - $102,811 per annum.

About you

To be successful for this role you will need a qualification in accordance with Regulation 18 of the Building Act, a current NCAS Competency Assessment, excellent written and oral communication skills, sound judgement and good attention to detail, excellent time management skills, a full driver's licence, able to establish and maintain business relationships and a strong customer focus.

Needing to relocate?

Not a problem as we can offer a relocation allowance and support for the right candidate.

This is a full time, permanent position based at our Matamata office with the opportunity for flexible / hybrid working arrangements.
