Volunteers should be caring, impartial, tolerant and open minded. It is very important they show respect for those from different backgrounds and cultures. Maintaining confidentiality is essential.

Volunteers are generally rostered on for a 2.5 - 3 hour shift each week but there are also other contract options within the organisation

Training

A mentor and a training course is provided with online modules to complete (this is spread over several weeks) Following by probationary supervised sessions and then all volunteers can access monthly on going training.
