We are seeking an experienced Drainlayer to join our clients dynamic team, working in 3 Waters.

If you have a background in drainlaying and are looking for an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale projects around Canterbury (Christchurch and Selwyn), we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities :

Installation, maintenance, and repair of stormwater, wastewater, and water drainage systems on large scale drainage projects.

Excavation, trenching, and backfilling in line with safety standards and project specifications.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Work with a team of skilled tradespeople, subcontractors, and project managers to deliver quality outcomes.

Troubleshoot and resolve drainage issues, ensuring the longevity and efficiency of systems.

Key Requirements :

Qualified or Experienced Drainlayer with relevant trade qualifications and / or experience.

Good knowledge of 3 Waters systems (sewer, water, and stormwater) and construction practices.

Solid experience in civil construction, specifically drainage and underground utility work.

Ability to interpret plans and specifications accurately.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and able to work in a team environment

Full driver's license (Class 2 preferred)
