Class 4 Civil Construction Driver / Operator

Class 4 Hiab Driver – Civil Labouring

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Class 4 Hiab Driver to join a busy civil team based in Takanini.

You’ll drive Class 4 trucks for material transport and using the Hiab for safe, efficient lifting and loading.

This role also includes hands-on site work and travel to different locations across New Zealand — ideal for someone who enjoys variety and teamwork.

Experience with a manual gearbox is essential.

Location : Takanini and travel to varied sites in Auckland

Start date : Immediate start available

Pay rate : $32–33 per hour (paid weekly)

Key duties :

• Operate Class 4 trucks for transport and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies
• Use Hiab for safe and efficient lifting, loading, and unloading on-site or for delivery
• Assist with site preparation, material handling, and support other team members as needed
• Perform pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all health and safety guidelines
• Assist with general labouring tasks or other duties as required by the site supervisor
