We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Christchurch Transport & Infrastructure civil construction team. As a Project Engineer, you will provide hands‑on management for specific operations, offering technical support to supervisors and driving successful project outcomes. From planning and tendering to managing contracts and ensuring safety excellence, you’ll be at the heart of our project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing assigned contracts, ensuring transport and infrastructure projects meet client expectations for quality and timeframes.
• Manage contractual issues, ensuring obligations are met and variations are resolved effectively.
• Contribute to accurate estimates and tenders for contracts and variation.
• Build strong relationships with client representatives and stakeholders in Christchurch’s transport and infrastructure sectors.
• Promote safe and sustainable working practices through induction, training and ongoing staff development.
