WATER : Project Controls Team Lead - South Island (Internal)

Location – SOUTH ISLAND

The newly created position of ‘Project Controls Team Lead – South Island’ will report to the ‘Project Management Lead – South Island’ and offers an exceptional opportunity for a people focused person to step into a pivotal role within a team of high performing, technically skilled professionals.

The Project Controls Team brings deep expertise and plays a vital role in Stantec’s project success.

The team is based across the South Island, and this role is your chance to lead, inspire, and help shape their continued growth and impact alongside your own.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the growth of Stantec’s business as a key member of the Project Management team within the Water BU. Demonstrating and leading company direction, culture, and values.
• Leading, supporting, and motivating the South Island Project Controls Team.
• Growing, mentoring, and teaching excellence in all aspects of the Project Controls role.
• Supporting the PML in the management of workload allocations amongst the Project Controls Team to ensure PMs are supported and projects are adequately resourced.
• Promote an open, challenging and stimulating work environment that attracts and retains high calibre staff.
• Invest in your own professional and technical development.

The Team Leader position is a function in addition to an employee’s substantive technical / project contribution role.
