Provide expert advice to leaders, and employees in line with best practice and New Zealand legislation.

You'll play a key role in driving a proactive safety culture across ITW Construction.

Prepare clear and accurate safety reports for management, ensuring timely communication of safety performance and supporting informed decision-making at all levelsInvestigative Resolution : Conduct thorough investigations of all accidents or incidents to determine the root cause and implement corrective actions.

Ensure that the Safety Management System (SMS) is regularly audited for compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Review and improve systems based on feedback, audits and incident reviews.Collaborate : Partner with ITW Construction Business leaders to foster a strong safety culture through committed and visible leadership, creating a workforce which engages with safe practice, systems and behaviours.

Provide support and guidance to the business to ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.Continuous Improvement : Familiar with RTWP and ACC engagement and procedures.

Lead programs to ensure safe and compliant handling, storage, and transport of dangerous goods, including adherence to proper manual handling techniques.What You'll Bring : Experience in HSE, take that step up to a Manager...Maintain a Safety-First mindset, even under pressure or challengeExperience in a warehouse environment preferredStrong understanding of NZ Safety laws and regulationsWorking knowledge of Safety Management Systems and the application in health and safety management, preferablyAbility to drive the Safety Culture within the NZ Workforce.Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with business leaders to achieve shared goalsExperience in dangerous goods handling, psychological safety, compliance, and related safety practices and procedures.Ability to simplify complex issues and deliver focus area'sDevelop and implement Health and Safety training and induction processes and modules.Health and Safety Committee facilitation experienceWhy Join ITW?
